Tree Hunting

It felt weird to visit Hann’s Tree Farm with no snow on the ground but I wanted to get the tree before I got any larger making it even harder to trek around outside.  It was a mild and beautiful morning though. We hiked out to the Canaan Fir section of the farm and found “the one”, it was a little hard this year because they were all pretty big. After  bit of a struggle Casey conquered the 8 foot beast! The boys dragged it back to the barn. The visit with Santa was nice, both boys chatted and there were no tears.  They asked him for a racecar. Good thing we had Grandpa’s truck,  I don’t think their Gator would have made the trip out there.
