Gobble Gobble

We spent a fun-filled few days at Uba and Grandpa’s house for the holiday weekend. Gerry and Laurie hosted a great Thanksgiving and since the Krieger family rarely ever gets together.  The cousins all had a great time playing together.  Aunt Laurie had some special treats for all the kids, it was very thoughtful of her and the kids were excited about it!  The (THREE!) turkeys were excellent and the trimmings were all hard to resist, I think we all over indulged.  Our thankfulness circle was really special, it is one of my favorite parts of the event.  This year Cooper said he was thankful for his family and soldiers.  Brecken said that he was thankful for music.  I think reflected on the past months the thing I am most thankful for is just the peaceful place I am at in my life.  I have wonderful friends that I get to see often, a great job, supportive families, the kids love their schools, Casey and I love our jobs, I have a home in a super neighborhood, I live in the greatest city ever and I have a beautiful, strong marriage – not much more you could ask for!
