Cooper–Surgery #2

This weekend Cooper had tubes put back in his left ear and had his adenoids removed.  I was glad we decided to get tubes again because when Dr. Schemmel got in there he said there was really thick fluid back there and it never would have drained on its own.  Cooper was in great spirits during his pre-op, he loved the attention.  Casey and I were both there to keep him company.  He got to wear a space gown (I loved the undies poking out the back). The surgery was fast and went well.  Coop was pretty uncomfortable in post-op and had a very sore throat from the breathing tube and a sore hand from a botched IV attempt.  He is already feeling so much better – it is hard to keep him laying still for the weekend. Let’s hope it is clear sailing for him from here on out.
