Trimming the Tree

Going to get our Christmas tree and putting on the decorations are always my favorite part of the holiday season.  This year Cooper seems to have a better idea of what is going on and has really had fun picking the tree and helping decorate the house.  He made a really long paper chain that he wants us to use as the star.  It hangs all the way to  the ground. Brecken loves the bright lights on the trees.  After we finished with our own tree we went into town where the local rotatory club has a fantastic light display.  Cooper loved recognizing all of the holiday themed light displays. Plus, they give you a big candy cane on your way in. It had just snowed so all of the trees looked so picturesque.  Then we came home and watched Rudolph.  Someone was very worried about him out in the snow without his parents to help. It was a great way to spend a snowy holiday evening.
