My baby is one year old! I can’t believe it. To celebrate this special milestone we had a very small family party at our house. It was probably better that we didn’t throw a large shindig because just in time for his party, Brecken caught a little cold. There was lots of snot and tears. Plus, we had a big snow/ice storm.
He woke up feeling pretty special, he was acting like such a big boy in his rocking chair.
Brecken and Cooper got a chance to visit with lots of family.
He opened up some gifts and especially loved his new super hero cape from Cooper.
Cooper was very proud of Brecken and was gracious all day long.
He kept telling him Happy Birthday and helped him open his gifts. He even got a few gifts of his own.
It was all very sweet. He is thrilled that Brecken gets to drink milk now. We made little sliders and fries in honor of Brecken’s cute cheeseburger Halloween costume. Kendra Cleary made this awesome cheeseburger cake for the party.
Delicious and adorable. Brecken really loved all the balloons and the special decorations.
He did not care for his little birthday cake though.
He doesn’t like sweets yet. I don’t have his official measurements, he goes to the doctor in a week or so. We are down to just a night time bottle and that will end this weekend and then it will be all whole milk all the time!
Brecken is walking along furniture and loves to push his lion toy all over the house.
He is finding his voice more and more lately. He says Mama, Dada, No and Woof when he sees Ruby. He doesn’t need it too much though because big Brother Cooper is always telling everyone just what Brecken needs.
They are quite the pair. I can just watch Brecken staring at Cooper and learning from him.
It is really neat to see. I look forward to watching them interact more and more this year.
We are so lucky to have the two amazing boys that we have.
Fun Times!
