Birthday Bash Numero Deuce

Cooper's second birthday was relatively easy compared to how unbelievably complicated some toddler birthdays can turn out to be. It all starts out as a cute idea; a few balloons, some pals, and a couple juice boxes. Then it turns out to be a couple months of planning, tons of little party food, menu changes, balloon bouquets, etc. This year we decided to make it easy on ourselves by having Cooper's party at the Little Gym for two reasons: 1. He LOVES the Little Gym and 2. Pretty simple party planning! I think that all the kids had a great time. Grandpa and Uba came down early to help out and Uba made an adorable caterpillar cake which went with our theme of The Very Hungry Caterpillar just wonderfully. We did some fun games with the parachute. Everyone jumped on the airtrack. There was some nice time visiting with family. We got to see lots of friends including some (Addy) that we have not seen in over a year. Even the babies got in on some of the fun! I think I had the best time towards the end when they got out the balls and bubbles. The kids were all so fascinated by the bubbles and it was great to watch. We attempted to snap a group photo at the end. I notice Cooper giving Carter the stink eye and fearing his giant sucker would be snatched up at any minute. I think Cooper had a wonderful time and really enjoyed this party! Happy Birthday Coop!!

Thanks for letting us help with the party. Our favorite part was watching how much fun Cooper was having and also seeing all of the beautiful children play with their parents!

I totally noticed the stink eye too! Too funny - some of Carrie and Jeff's pics capture the moment too. Happy Birthday Cooper! You're such a cutie :)
