Home Away From Home

We had our first of many summer visits to the Zoo.  It was hot, really hot!  We decided to take a quick swim in Lake Wingra to cool off before heading home.  All the animals were out today and trying to stay cool.  The memorial for Vilas, the lioness, was sad and the boys stopped to visit her den and read all the cards people had left for her.  Cooper wants to take  a picnic lunch and eat it by the giraffes so that is our plan next time.
