Decorating the Tree

The tree is set up and the lights are on!  We had to let it rest a day until the branches fell a bit - the boys were enjoying the lights while they watched a Christmas special.  This year Cooper  and Brecken really got into the decorating.  Brecken would deliver ornaments to Cooper and he would put them up. Somehow many of them ended up on one big branch on the bottom of the tree. We couldn’t help but celebrate the Badger’s recent victory and subsequent trip to the Rose Bowl by hanging this ornament.  I have a couple of favorites that my dad made.  He takes the trunk of our tree and burns a design into it every year.  These were from the boys’ first Christmas seasons with us. I think we got the boys’ stamp of approval – the tree looks great.
