Annual 4th of July Cabin Trip

We made our annual 4th of July cabin trip up north and lucked out again with perfect weather. We took advantage of every moment and spent our days floating in the pontoon, sitting on the pier or playing in the water.  This trip is the highlight of the summer and every time I spend the weekend up there with the Zuithoffs, Kopeskys and Fawvers I am reminded of just how lucky I am.  Cooper had a great time with the kids, especially Carter.  He is totally in his element there – running around and exploring all day long.  He was so happy to be back up there!  Our group of kids keeps growing and growing.  It a beautiful thing to see, how our friendship and families have grown and changed over the last 5 years.It was Emmett’s first trip up this year. Next year, we will have another new arrival!  Casey and I had some fun of our own with the adults.  It felt so good to be laughing all weekend long.  We finally saw the three-legged bear that we have heard about for years.  He camped out in our driveway one evening. My Dad caught a 38” musky that I helped him to net, it was incredible! So many great memories, I am already counting down the days until next year!
