Brecken–18 Months

Brecken had his 18 month doctor appointment today.  This is the appointment where they do all the Ages and Stages diagnostic testing and the Autism screener.  We are happy to report that we have a healthy and happy young boy.  Brecken has a great personality with a very definite sense of humor. Doctor Reeder noticed how strong Brecken was when he was wrestling him in resistance to the physical exam.  Brecken is in the 80% for weight at 28 lbs. and the 70% for height.  His language skills are starting to come along now although Brecken is a quiet boy and just prefers not to talk most of the time ( a little like his Daddy).  His ears look great and his respiratory system is doing well after the beating it took this winter.  Cooper was on hand to comfort and distract Brecken but did have to leave when Brecken got his shot.  It really bothered him and he was so upset he asked to leave the office (my little bleeding heart). There were no concerns and Brecken will head back to see the doctor for his two-year appointment in December.
