Madison could certainly be described as “crazy” during the Crazylegs race this year. The town was bustling with over 20,000 race participants and swarms of college students attending the Mifflin Street Block Party. What a weekend for people-watching! Mike and Grandpa ran Crazylegs this year.
Casey had to sit this year out and do the walk with Uba, Sarah, Cooper, Brecken, Hudson and myself.
We were considered part of the wave “walkers with accessories”. We started the race off right at the Old Fashioned with a big ol’ bloody mary. The kids were ready to go (right after Casey made a quick jog to the Farmer’s Market for some cheese curds). The finish in Camp Randall was great.
Uba was helping the boys watch for Grandpa and Mike.
There was lots of playing on the field and in the endzone.
It didn’t take long for the shenanigans to begin.
We made it over to the runners finish just in time to meet up with Grandpa and Mike – good job guys!
Fun Times!
