Casey and I just returned from a special dinner with the boys in honor of Cooper’s excellent parent-teacher conference. He is doing so well in school and we are so proud of him. 
Miss Katie had wonderful things to share with us: Cooper knows all of his letters and their accompanying sounds. He is starting to put them together to read small words. He knows his numbers 1-30 and all of his colors. He knows simple one-digit addition and subtraction. He made some huge gains in pencil holding and she is very impressed with his cutting skills. Cooper knows all of his shapes but gets stuck on rectangle, sometimes referring to it as a square. Cooper has made some great friends and plays well with them. Miss Katie said following rules and manners are important to Cooper. Casey and I are so pleased that Cooper loves school so much and proud of his hard work in preschool!
