Splash Park

We recently visited the new splash park in town.  It was awesome. Tons of neat sprinklers for the kids to run through.  Intermittently they go off and the kids have to find these towers and touch them to make the water start again. The tower that turns it on changes each time so it is a great little puzzler for the kids.  It is nestled in a great park with gazebos, sandboxes, playgrounds, wild flower gardens and a little lake.  We played in the water, stopped to do a craft at the kids gazebo and fed the ducks and bluegill in the lake.  It was a great way to cool off on this hot day.  On the way home Cooper said, “Hey Mommy, isn’t it nice that we live by a place with such nice parks to go visit together?”  It sure is.
