Brecken – 6 Months

Wow, half a year…that just flew by.  Brecken is a lovely baby.  Goes to anyone, happy as can be, full of smiles all the time.  I love just sitting around with him and making him laugh, it doesn’t take much.      Breck can just about sit up by himself, if we rest our hand on the small of his back he is fine but if we take it away he will tip forward.  He still loves his feet which contributes to the tipping over. He is eating about 4 – 8 oz. bottles a day and taking 3 naps a day.  He goes to sleep around 7 or so and wakes up at 6:30. Brecken is much bigger than Cooper and at this age  Cooper was sitting up and crawling.  We think the size might account for the physical differences.  They continue to have very different personalities and it is wonderful to see them interact. Brecken could just stare at Cooper all day long.  Brecken has been doing well with the single grains we have been feeding him and have moved onto purees.  So far, so good.  He is getting much more vocal and will imitate sounds that Cooper makes. He loves his bouncer and enjoys being read to especially when it is a soft book he can gobble up. We see the Dr. tomorrow for a six month visit so I will have details about his stats soon.
