MCM – On the road

Until the new Madison’s Children’s Museum opens in August (which looks AMAZING) they have been traveling all over setting up little road shows for kids. Today we went to the zoo to learn about lake habitats and growing vegetables. Cooper got to fish with some magnetic fishing poles. IMG_2806 He also enjoyed putting on his apron and planting then harvesting some vegetables. IMG_2813After the road show class, we hit the zoo. The playground is open. IMG_2795As is the carousal, which totally made Cooper’s day.IMG_2801 Brecken woke up at the playground for about 5 seconds – then back to sleep. IMG_2793The giraffes were especially entertaining today. They were standing very close to us. IMG_2777They weren’t getting along very well and were pushing each other and whacking each other with their heads. IMG_2782Cooper did not like it and yelled out to them, “You stop hitting right now!” and when they didn’t listen, “Hey, big giraffe, you are in a time out.”
