Until the new Madison’s Children’s Museum opens in August (which looks AMAZING) they have been traveling all over setting up little road shows for kids. Today we went to the zoo to learn about lake habitats and growing vegetables. Cooper got to fish with some magnetic fishing poles. He also enjoyed putting on his apron and planting then harvesting some vegetables.
After the road show class, we hit the zoo. The playground is open.
As is the carousal, which totally made Cooper’s day.
Brecken woke up at the playground for about 5 seconds – then back to sleep.
The giraffes were especially entertaining today. They were standing very close to us.
They weren’t getting along very well and were pushing each other and whacking each other with their heads.
Cooper did not like it and yelled out to them, “You stop hitting right now!” and when they didn’t listen, “Hey, big giraffe, you are in a time out.”
Fun Times!
