Brecken – 3 Months Old

My baby is three months old today (he is showing you his uncomfortable face, he didn’t really enjoy having this picture taken today). He is such a fun kiddo to stay home with.  Brecken smiles all the time but reserves his cooing for special occasions.   He is a pretty quiet little boy. Brecken eats about 6 ounces every three hours and is sleeping soundly through the night in his own crib. He lays down about 8:30 and wakes up at 6:30.  He loves to lay down and bat at the animals hanging on his play mat.  He often flails around so crazy that he puts himself right to sleep so that is also his favorite place to nap.  He uses his Bumbo seat but not often and will sometimes enjoy his swing.     He likes to lay and look at the big mobile in his room or the rainforest on his crib.  It is nice to see his hands open sometimes now and he is clasping them together pretty often.  He tracks all across the room and smiles at us when he recognizes our voices before he even sees us. He enjoys bath time alot and likes to lay out and splash in the water.  Brecken does not like hats or wearing layers, lets just  say he is a minimalist when it comes to clothes. He really likes it when you just lay him down and talk to him.  He is pretty calm and observant, he doesn’t mind just being held and  cuddled so in that respect he is very different than Cooper. We can’t wait to see what the future brings us.
