The Perfect Present

Our baby boy has arrived!!! We apologize for not getting pictures and information to you all sooner but it has been a crazy couple of weeks. We planned to move the weekend of December 11th, which was also supposed to be my last day of school. That would give us one week to unpack and get settled in the house...no such luck! On Thursday evening I was at the condo getting Cooper into his PJ's and Casey was in Waunakee at the new house shoveling out the driveway. I felt a little pop and sure enough, my water broke! I quick called Casey and told him to come home, called my sub and told her I was in labor, called Deana and had her come over to watch Cooper and called Steve to have him load my car. I was a busy woman! Casey came home and we rushed to the hospital after frantically calling my parents and telling them to hurry down. Although the water broke I was having contractions but they were random and not regular so I just labored (uncomfortably) at the hospital until 1:00 AM. All of a sudden at 1:00 AM things really started to pick up and active labor began. Just like with Cooper when it is time for things to move along they just fly (luckily, my parents did make it up in time)! Brecken Charles was born at 3:13 on December 11th after just over two hours of labor and about 10 minutes of pushing. He is unbelievably perfect and such a calm peaceful baby, just like Cooper. They look similar, same head full of auburn hair and those Zwettler eyes. Brecken has a little dimple in his chin just like my dad and I and he definitely has my full cheeks. Cooper has been wonderful and is very interested in his new brother. We really feel blessed with these two amazing boys. We are also completely overwhelmed by the support we got from our family and friends. While we were in the hospital for three days our awesome friends and family moved all of our things to our new house and unpacked it all!
