8 Months and Counting Down

I couldn't really find a good picture of me 8 months pregnant with Cooper. This one is a little hard to see but works for comparisons sake. Here are a few shots of me now at 8 months. I have 27 days left and am on weekly doctor appointments. I am 1 inch dilated and about 60% effaced. Pretty typical at this point for a second pregnancy. The doctor told me that given my speedy first delivery that after this Thanksgiving weekend I need to stick close to the hospital. I remember being so preoccupied with waiting for Cooper at this point in my last pregnancy. This time I am so busy with the new house that I don't have time to be anxious. I am actually hoping this little guy stays put for a while, possibly even arriving a day or two late like Coop. That being said, we can't wait to meet him. I hope he comes out with a big head of fuzzy hair just like his brother. Cooper is getting more and more excited with every passing day. He talks about playing with his brother all the time and is very quick to point out all the things he can do that his little brother won't be able to do. This morning he told me his brother won't run fast in his running shoes like he does!
