7 months

I am 7 months pregnant today. I had my appointment to reevaluate my placenta previa issue and I am super pumped to announce that it is gone, entirely! I am right on schedule for a regular delivery, no more impending C-section. The baby is head down and ready to go. The doctor reminded me just how soon that might be when she was talking about meeting the new baby in about 8 weeks, yikes....totally not ready yet.

We were excited about getting an ultrasound at 32 weeks because that is fairly late and we thought we could see some neat pics of the babe. Not the case...apparently, the 20 week pictures show up with much more clarity because of all the room the baby has. At this point, the little guy is pretty smushed in there and it made it much more difficult to see but we did get one profile shot. I will try to get around to uploading it.

We did have the chance to learn some more about the little guy today though. Here is some new information: okay, this isn't new but we did reconfirm the presence of a penis, his heartbeat was 160, he weighs 4 pounds 3 ounces (at 32 weeks the average size is 3 pounds 5 ounces) lastly, he was very active today - he kicked the doppler right out of the doctor's hand (second appt. in a row).

Can't wait to meet him!
