Big Boy Undies

OK, so we are kind of/ sort of starting to officially potty train Cooper. He started showing an interest in the potty when he was about two years old. We started reading about it, bought him a little Elmo Potty Time DVD, and put a potty in the bathroom for him. He would talk about it and even use it a couple times a week. He went once a day at Jenny's so I knew he was starting to get more comfortable with it. When I found I was pregnant moving Cooper into a big boy bed and potty training him became the top two things on my to-do list. So, today we went to Target and made a HUGE deal about buying big boy undies.

He picked Thomas and Diego. I even got him little boxer briefs to match his daddy...too cute! I researched about 50 different methods on potty training and none of them really seemed to fit Cooper so I am going with my own version, we call it the I'll be damned if I am going to have two kids in diapers method. All day today we stuck around home and he just wore a t-shirt and his undies. He went in the potty 5 times and had one accident. Not too bad....he does not tell me when he has to go, right now I am just predicting so hopefully he will start announcing it soon. Wish us luck!
