Mama is Old

Casey has been out of town for the better part of two weeks, stopping home just to pack and then head out again. Thankfully, he is back now for good but in the meantime I decided to head home to see my parents so I wouldn't have a pity party for myself when I celebrated the big 3-0. It was so warm outside that we literally spent the entire day outside. Cooper played outside from the moment he woke up until lunch. He came into to eat (crying all the way), took a nap and then headed back out. He stayed out until bedtime. It was crazy and so much fun. We ran around in the sprinkler and played in the water table. My parents set up the little pool and stuck the slide in it. Kona got a bath. We made some big bubbles and just wore ourselves out. Here is a short clip of the slide action.

I celebrated after Cooper went to bed by heading out to see Bon Jovi at summerfest with Sarah, Carrie and Manda but not before getting birthday hugs from everyone and blowing the candle out of my yummy raspberry cream cake. Bon Jovi was wonderful and the visit home was fabulous!!!
