Uba Update

OK - still no computer hook-up in Madison (come on Daddy) so no fun blogs for now but I do have a very important Uba update. Uba is home from the hospital as of today!!!! Doctor Hijjawi was amazing and he performed Uba's DIEP Flap perfectly. The surgery lasted 11 hours and things were pretty rough when Uba woke up. Slowly but surely she got a little better and now she is able to go home. Thank you to all of my Great Aunt/Uncles, and Mommy and Daddy's friends and family for all the flowers and well wishes - that was very nice of you all! Uba is doing alright but she is still not able to stand upright yet and is still very sore. I am glad that she has until the middle of October to recover. Her students won't even know their real teacher until the second month of school...how silly! This surgery showed me how amazing Uba is and how strong she is, way to go Uba!!!!
